Global OTT TV and Video Forecasts

Global OTT TV episode and movies revenues will reach $228 billion in 2029; up by $64 billion - or 39% - from $164 billion in 2023. About $15 billion will be added in 2024 alone.

Simon Murray, Principal Analyst at Digital TV Research, said: "From the extra $64 billion revenues between 2023 and 2029, 10 countries will add at least $2 billion - or $42 billion cumulatively (66% of additional revenues). The US will remain the dominant territory by some distance. We forecast that US revenues will climb by $16 billion between 2023 and 2029 to reach $92 billion."

SVOD will remain the principal OTT revenue source, growing by $30 billion between 2023 and 2029 to $139 billion. AVOD revenues will reach $68 billion by 2029, up by $30 billion from $39 billion in 2023.
