U.S. Business Use Tablet Forecast, 2025-2029

This IDC study presents the five-year forecast for the U.S. business use of tablet shipments by operating system and user type (consumer, individual liable, and corporate liable). It is part of IDC's continuing research with respect to mobile devices. Findings in this document are based on information gathered from primary and secondary sources during the past six months."U.S. business use tablet shipments are expected to slow from 2024, but volumes remain in line with expectations across the forecast period," says Bryan Bassett, research manager for IDC's Enterprise Mobility: Workspace and Deployment Strategies program. "China tariffs are set to further inhibit U.S. tablet shipments through 2025, as businesses and consumers will be reluctant to move forward with new project refresh plans or personal device purchases at inflated prices."
