In the second half, however, the market witnessed improvement with the resurgence of demand for packaging and testing services, particularly within the smartphones, AI, and high-performance computing (HPC) sectors. As we venture into the year 2024, the semiconductor industry foresees a trajectory of medium- and long-term growth. The gradual recovery of traditional packaging demand and the surging demand for 2.5D/3D advanced packaging will have a positive impact on OSAT vendors, and the OSAT sector is projected to grow by 13.6% this year."
