Worldwide Hearables Market Shares, 2023: Apple's Market Share Dips Below 30%

This IDC study provides a brief overview of the worldwide hearables market in 2023."Hearables remain far and away the most popular wearable devices and the primary drivers of the wearables market. While not as popular as smartphones, these have nearly become must-have devices for consumers," says Ramon T. Llamas, research director, with IDC's Wearables team. "Although the market remained mostly flat for the year by volume, the decline in value points to consumers gravitating to less expensive models, which was also the result of seeing fewer high-end flagship models coming to market. Still, it also underscores the different trends in and opportunities in the market that will continue well into 2024 and beyond."
